Hi Bowlers,
Due to the expected forecast of extreme heat today, we have made the decision to cancel social bowls. We know that this is disappointing seeing as it is the last Social Bowls for this year, but with the temperature to be nudging 40 degrees, it is not safe for anyone to be playing. The green will remain closed until such time that the temperature falls below 36 degrees, which, according to the Bureau of Meteorology, won’t happen until sometime after 6pm.
Once again, we are sorry we had to cancel bowls, but our duty of care to our members is paramount.
We would like to take this time to wish all our members a safe & merry Xmas & a Happy New Year. We look forward to having you back & having a great 2024.
