ST JOHNS PARK POWERHOUSE

The St Johns Park Powerhouse is our fantastic new Bowls Lounge! This self-contained facility boasts a spacious lounge area, Rinaldo’s Bar, kitchen/catering options, a spacious meeting room and houses the Bowls Office for St Johns Park Bowling Club.

The spacious interior has an abundance of natural light, high and low tables, lounges, TV screens around the perimeter and a range of other fantastic facilities for the enjoyment of members and guests.

The outdoor area (which includes a BBQ) overlooks the bowling greens with great viewing opportunities to observe our bowlers in action, or just to enjoy the serenity that the quiet corner brings.

For your convenience, we have installed a lift from the Bowlers car park and there is also ramp access from the main Club.

The health and safety of our staff and patrons remains our number one priority and we are operating under COVID Safe restrictions.

Rinaldo’s Bar

Patron of St Johns Park Bowling Club, Brian Rinaldo, joined the Club in 1957 as a social member, and has held continuous membership for 63 years.

On joining St Johns Park Bowling Club, Brian became enthusiastically involved in Club life and enjoyed the game of Lawn Bowls, along with organising various social activities.

Brian served on the Board of Directors for 33 years, making him the Club’s longest serving Director. He held every position on the Board with the exception of Treasurer. He became President in 1984 and remained in that role for 6 years. He then served a further 18 years as Vice President (1990 – 2008). In recognition of his service to the Club, Brian Rinaldo was made a Life Member in 1983 and Patron in 2009.
