Domenic Mediati is your 2023/24 Men’s Minor Singles Champion. Domenic defeated Brendan Ford 25-11 in the Final which was played in tricky conditions on a very quick green.
After dropping the first end, Domenic won the next 5 ends to take a handy lead at 11-2. The pair then traded the next 4 ends to have the score read 14-6 in Domenic’s favor. A count of 4 then extended Domenic’s lead to 18-6. Brendan countered back scoring a 3 to trim the lead to 18-9. a score of 2 to both players on the next 2 ends took the score to 20-11. That would be as close as it got, with Domenic picking up a 3 & a 2 to take the match & the Championship 25-11.

To reach the Final, Brendan had a hard fought 25-15 win over Ross Koppman.
Domenic received a walkover in his semi final as Mark Arie unfortunately was to unwell to play, which was disappointing for him as he had been playing well to reach the semis. We all wish Mark a speedy recovery.
