Jackie Short and Sarah Berghofer have taken out the 2020 Ladies Major Pairs with a comprehensive 29-8 victory over Karen Lyall and Dafna Orbach.
The final was played in very wet conditions, with the rain rarely easing. However, the quality from both sides was certainly on display throughout the match.
Short and Berghofer were outstanding performers throughout the Championship. They started their campaign with a victory over Lesley Arie and Lorraine Peel 35-8. They followed with a quarter final victory 21-13 over Jo Waiwai and Maria Giorgi and beat Joelen Bianchetto, Dawn Hayman in their semi final 18-14 before going on to take the title.
