2025/26 Ladies Major Pairs Championship

Congratulations to Brianna Smith & Dawn Hayman who are the 2025/26 Ladies Major Pairs Champions. They defeated Jasmine Smith & Natasha Russell 20-13 in what was a great final played in tricky conditions.
Jasmine & Natasha started well, leading 4-0 after 2 ends, but Brianna & Dawn would then click into gear, winning the next 4 ends, including a count of 5, to lead 10-4 after 6 ends. The next few ends went backwards & forward, with both teams winning there share, & after 13 ends, Brianna & Dawn held a 5 shot lead, 16-11. Try as the might, Jasmine & Natasha couldn’t make a late move, with Brianna & Dawn picking up 4 shots over the next 3 ends, to lead by 8 shots, 19-11 with only 2 ends remaining. A 2 on the penultimate end to Jasmine & Natasha meant they needed a 6 to force an extra end, or 7 to win. It wasn’t to be though as Brianna & Dawn scored 1 shot, to take the match & the title 20-13. Congratulations to all 4 players who put on a great final.
To reach the Final, Brianna & Dawn proved too strong for Brittany Camp & Erin Swatridge, winning 28-7. The other semi final was very similar, with Jasmine & Natasha proving too strong for Michelle Smith & Maryann Parcell, winning 29-9.
