2024/25 Men’s Graded Pairs Champions

Tonight saw the Final of the 2024/25 Men’s Graded Pairs Championship. The match pitted the defending Champions Peter Roberts & Kenta Treacher against Michael Hoyer & Phil Clarke.
Michael & Phil started in red hot form, jumping out to a 14-2 lead after 8 ends. Peter & Kenta then managed to win 3 of the next 4 ends to reduce the deficit to 6 shots, 17-11. Try as the might, this would be as close as the game would get, with Michael & Phil still leading 21-14 after 18 ends. A further 3 shots, followed by a 2, put the game to bed with the score 26-14 after 20 ends. Congratulations to Michael & Phil who are the 2024/25 Men’s Graded Pairs Champions.
