Congratulations to Anna Brescia (sub for Elaine Field), Irene McBride, Lois McKiernan & Dawn Hayman who are the 2023/24 Ladies Club Fours Champions! They defeated Lorraine Brincat, Kristie Denison, Jasmine Smith & Brianna Smith 18-17 in what was a fantastic game of bowls. Dawns team jumped ahead early, leading 9-2 after 6 ends before Brianna & team fought back to close the gap to 1 shot at 10-9 after 11 ends. Dawns team then won the next 4 ends to jump back out to a 7 shot lead, 16-9 after 15 ends. Brianna & team weren’t done with yet though, winning 4 out of the next 5 ends to even the score at 17 all with only 1 end remaining. With only the skips left to play, Dawns team was holding shot with Brianna just missing out on drawing the shot, leaving Dawn & team holding 1, & taking the match & the Championship 18-17.
